How's it going with everybody? The last month has been pretty good for me out here in Japan. I've been steadily working on my Z as well as going to the street races and watching drifting. I've also got quite a few new updates to report as far as the website is concerned.

1) Member Update: We now have 35 members. I never imagined the site would get so many people.

2) Online radio: I know I mentioned the online radio in the last newsletter. I'm just wondering what everybody thought of it. I'm waiting on making the page public until I hear back from the members. I haven't received a single comment on that yet.

3) Z History: I am in the works of getting a Z History page posted. I am talking with http://www.mick300zx.net right now. He has a nice page so I just copied the HTML. I'm waiting on his permission before I make the page public because I am hoping to use his hosted images. I'm just being courteous. If you want to preview the page, you can see it at http://www.jdmfairladyz.com/future_pages/zhistory.html

4) FSM: I have added a Factory Service Manual (FSM) to the website. It is located at the top of the Tech page. It is actually just a link to an existing FSM.

5) New Partnership: I have partnered up with another guy out here in Japan for the JDM store. My resources were limited to getting parts from Tokyo Auto and even then I had many limitation placed on me by the USPS. This guy (his name is Trace) speaks Japanese and is able to get many more parts than I can. He is trustworthy which is why I have partnered with him. If you would like to get parts from Yahoo Auctions Japan or even from another website, this would be the guy to go through. He does business a little differently than I do. Be sure to read his section at the bottom of the JDM Store. You can find it at http://www.jdmfairladyz.com/store.html

6) New Store Rules: I am about to change the way the JDM Store works. It is fairly difficult running it when I get many orders at once (and I have in the past). I haven't made it official yet but I am about to change the "at cost" part of the business. I've just been charging people the price of the parts, shipping, & highway tolls to pick them up. I am about to start charging a small percentage for my time & efforts. I am making an exception to this though. If you are a member of Club JDM Fairlady Z then you will not be charged that percentage. I figure it is a clever way to get more members. Most people will be willing to sign up in order to save a little cash. This will not affect any of you but I am informing you of the change regardless just in case you have mentioned the store to anyone else.

7) Merchandise Store: I have been considering creating a merchandise store on top of the "parts service" I provide. I'm not sure what the interest would be in something like that. Would anyone be interested in T-shirts or other memorabilia? If you are interested, please let me know. Also, if you have any ideas for logos and such, please shoot those to me in an e-mail so I can create the items. If there is no interest in a merchandise store then I won't create one.

I need feedback from you guys in order to make the website better. I've gotten a few replies to the newsletters but not nearly enough. All it takes is a quick note to drop an idea or two. Anyway, thanks for signing up in the first place and helping Club JDM Fairlady Z to be what it is.
