Suspension 101

With most suspension tuning. There is no proper setup but more personal preference. As with most things, having too much of one certain aspect may not be ideal. A good suspension is one that has been tuned not to the extreme but to deliver overall balance within the suspension components.

TERMS

Understeer : Condition when front of car loses traction and has a tendeny to plow straight through the corner.

Oversteer : Condition when rear of car loses traction and the rear end tried to come around. Car also feels like it will spin out. Very difficult to control compared to understeer.
